Through sculptural floor objects, Moondé explores how material can carry meaning across time. Working primarily in cowhide and leather, the studio translates systems of exchange, ornament, and symbolic language into contemporary form.

Raised between New York and Limón, Costa Rica, Moondé's practice is informed by a lifelong interest in movement, lineage, and cultural transmission. His research traces the paths through which symbols, traditions, and forms travel across generations.
